Leadership

Each month, students will become aware of the many diseases, illnesses and traumatic events that affect people on a daily basis. It will become the participant’s job to help raise awareness of these types of ailments or life-altering events to commemorate the many people who have been affected.

Sports Club

The sports club is designed to have fun, low-pressure afterschool activities where students can learn about the sports and games they love while having fun with their friends. Class offerings are basketball, soccer and flag football.

Dance Challenge

Our Challenge of the Icons dance class will teach rhythm, coordination, musicality and choreography of legendary performers like Janet Jackson and Beyonce. Students are challenged to think on their feet while enjoying an energetic and fast-paced dance class.

Cooking

Participants are challenged to convert their favorite meals into healthy choices. Students will compare and contrast traditional recipes with healthier options.

Mixed Media Art

Participants will utilize everyday items that would normally be discarded and convert them into works of art. From trash to treasure, challenges will include using cardboard, bottles, newspaper, buttons and bottle caps.
