Welcome to our Science and Medicine Middle School community: SMMS 366, a New York City Department of Education school serving students interested in science and medicine. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing yet academically rigorous learning environment that prepares our students for high school, college, careers, and service to the world. Through our partnerships with universities, hospitals, local sororities and other medical facilities, we are enabling our students to travel on their life’s path to high school, post secondary education, and careers. It is our expectation that students respect themselves and others, hold themselves accountable for their actions, and always strive for excellence. Please plan a visit with our Parent Coordinator, tour our building and learn about the latest news, information and the promising opportunities that SMMS 366 has to offer.

There are many upcoming events and enhancements to the SMMS 366 community, such as our new school branding boulevard banners, the Gender Equity Alliance and our partnerships with the New York Academy of Sciences, Urban Advantage and the Middle School Quality Initiative. Our sixth graders learn medical science in our hospital teaching lab. Seventh and eighth graders take music as an elective.
