Imagine That Chess Program
The Imagine That chess program serves six classes one day per week and meets afterschool for all students who wish to learn and practice the game of chess.
The program aspires to give students the ability of foresight. Being able to think ahead is a skill that helps in every aspect of life, and can lead to a fruitful future. The program’s motto is “Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.” The five P’s are relevant in chess as well as any aspect of successful living. Chess is the perfect game to hone planning skills.
